DataBreach.com Team · March 9th 2026, 8:00 pm EDT
In February 2026, the ShinyHunters cyber extortion group targeted Pathstone Family Office, an ultra-high-net-worth wealth management firm with $170 billion in assets. The group alleged the exfiltration of 641,000 records, including personally identifiable information (PII) and internal corporate documents. While Pathstone has not officially confirmed the incident, reports from SC Media and Cybernews indicate a ransom deadline of March 2, 2026, was set before the data would be made public.
