In July 2022, Hjedd, a Chinese adult content platform, suffered a significant data breach due to an unsecured database. This security lapse exposed the personal information of over 14 million users, including usernames, email addresses, bcrypt-hashed passwords, IP addresses, and messages exchanged between users.
