In September 2018, Color Dating, a mobile application designed to connect individuals across diverse ethnic backgrounds, experienced a data breach affecting approximately 220,000 user accounts. The compromised information encompassed email addresses, user bios, names, profile photographs, and passwords secured with bcrypt hashing. The breach was later disseminated as part of a larger collection of data leaks.
