Carrefour Mobile Breach

In April 2025, Carrefour Mobile (the MVNO arm of the retail giant) confirmed a security intrusion that necessitated taking their entire website offline to contain the threat. Unlike the massive retail database leaks often associated with the brand, this breach specifically targeted mobile subscriber data. While the volume of records is lower than typical retail breaches (~63k), the sensitivity of the exposed data is significantly higher, including technical identifiers and government IDs.
