On 23 June 2014, Black Hat World-a forum dedicated to search engine optimization and digital marketing tactics-suffered a significant data breach affecting approximently 560K user accounts. Attackers exploited a vulnerability in the site's database and extracted a MySQL script containing a wide array of sensitive user data. The exposed information included email addresses, usernames, dates of birth, IP addresses, instant messenger identities, passwords, and records of website activity.
