Avvo Breach

In 2019, Avvo—a widely used online legal marketplace connecting consumers with attorneys—suffered a data breach that exposed sensitive user data. Although public details about the incident remain sparse, aggregated reports indicate that attackers gained unauthorized access to portions of Avvo’s user database. This breach is believed to have compromised personal information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, and possibly additional details contained in user profiles and legal inquiries.
